Can Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment Provide Pain Relief For Chronic Neuropathy in Feet?

Marilyn Vogel – Cardiff – Fiery Sharp Pains in Feet

Hi, I’m Marilyn Vogel-Malmuth. I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Listiak for my peripheral neuropathy problem. I had been feeling very sharp pains in my feet but thankfully it hadn’t hit my hands. My feet were fiery red and just felt like they were on fire. I couldn’t stand it, and every night for the last year or two my husband has had to massage my feet.

I’m so excited today to tell Dr. Listiak that for four days in a row, I have felt no pain whatsoever. I’m just so excited about it.

Can Neuropathy Be Reversed? Feet Tingling, Sleep and Energy Problems?

Carl Johnson – Encinitas – Feet Tingling, Sleep and Energy Problems

Hello my name is Carl Johnson. I’ve been seeing Dr. Listiak for a couple of months now. Just last night, I found myself getting to sleep, falling asleep, and staying asleep for five hours. That’s the second time in the last five years, at least, that I’ve been able to sleep for five hours without waking up. The last time was about a month ago after I’d seen Dr. Listiak.

I’ve also noticed a lot less tingling in my feet. I’ve got more of a sensation of normalness in my feet which was a really welcome feeling. So between that and a wellness, a whole wellness about my whole body, I feel like I have more energy.

I get emotional about that because when you get run down and tired and you get old running life and all of a sudden something perks back up again, it’s really nice. So I’m really thankful for what’s come about here. I’m really looking forward to what’s going to happen through the rest of my therapy. So, I thank you Dr. Listiak and I want to keep on doing what you have me doing. Keep on keeping on.

Can Diabetic Neuropathy Be Reversed? What About Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and Weight Problems?

Bob Hill – Oceanside – Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Weight Problems, Issues with Diet, Reduced Feeling in Legs and Hands

I’m very happy with the results we’ve had over the last six weeks. My blood pressure has come down and my blood sugar is down to normal. I’ve lost fifteen pounds in the last six weeks due to the diet. I have some more feeling in my legs and hands and I’m very pleased with the progress the Dr. is making.

(Bob that’s fantastic, can you give me an idea of what your blood sugar used to be and what they are now?)

My blood sugars used to be about 180-225, this morning it was down to 110. At night time before I go to bed, I take it also and it’s usually about 150 where it used to be up in 190-200 range.

(Wow that is fantastic)

So between the diet and what the doctor has done to my spine, I’m tickled.

Neuropathy in Hands? Is Treatment For Neuropathy Peripheral Only For Feet? Does It Help Sleep?

Goldyn Mills – Couldn’t Sleep in bed due to Hand Pain Symptoms

Yes, I want you to know that I couldn’t sleep all night long, and I had to get up and sit in my chair to get comfort from my hands. But last night, I slept all night long. For how long? Nine hours. It was wonderful. And I didn’t have to get up and sleep in my chair.

Can a Neuropathy Doctor help Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy?

Diane Tye – Carlsbad – Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy of Feet and Fingers, Energy Problems

Hi, I’m Diane Tye and I’ve been coming to Dr. Listiak for about two weeks now. I was diagnosed with chemo induced neuropathy in my feet and a little bit in my fingers. It’s been about two weeks of treatment now and I just wanted to tell the Doctor, this morning, that I’m excited because in the last day or so I’ve felt a lessening of my symptoms. Not nearly the feeling I was having when it was coming up my ankles. It seems like it’s regressing.

There’s times when I don’t feel my feet neuropathy, which is good. When you have neuropathy you’re aware of your feet all the time, so I’m excited about it. It’s only been two weeks and I have a couple weeks to go. It’s really looking good and I’m very grateful.

(4 weeks later)

I came in to see Dr. Listiak for my peripheral neuropathy from chemo. My last chemo was maybe four months ago and I discovered after the last chemo that I had peripheral neuropathy. I was waiting several months and it just kept getting worse. I saw his ad and thought “Okay, I’ll try being a little proactive and go in for my neuropathy.” It has been very helpful.

It’s been about six weeks, and I’m feeling less peripheral neuropathy than I did before. Hardly anything in my hands which had been bothering me a little too, so that appears to be gone. And I do have a lot of energy, I feel like I’ve learned a lot and I’m taking better care of myself. Overall, I feel better and I feel like my peripheral neuropathy is not coming on stronger.

I feel like it’s going away. So that’s how I feel. I’m not a hundred percent but I’d say my feet are probably 50% better than I when I came in here, which is awesome, and my hands don’t have neuropathy anymore.

Is Neuropathy Relief Possible From Feet Numbness and Walking Problems? What About Extreme Pain In The Feet?

Hedy Lang – San Diego – Feet Numbness, Walking Problems, Extreme Pain in Feet

I’m Hedy Lang, and I came here because I have neuropathy. My feet were numb, the left one more so than the right. I had a lot of problems, I couldn’t stand up, I couldn’t walk. I have a walker that I use once in a while and I walk with a cane most of the time. All the time actually, when I do walk.

Before, my left foot was completely numb and now it is a hundred percent better. I don’t have the pain I used to when I would go to sleep. As soon as I would lie down, I used to get extreme pain in my feet and I would scream into my pillow every night. That has completely stopped and I don’t have that anymore.

Is It Possible For A Cancer Survivor To Sleep Through The Night?

Drew Spaeth – Encinitas – Nine Year Cancer Patient with Sleep Problems

Hi, my name is Drew and I’m a patient of Dr. Listiak’s. I’ve been a patient for about three or four weeks now. I’m a cancer patient and I’m undergoing regular treatment, and I have had a really hard time sleeping. In fact, in the last nine years, prior to last night, November 17, 2013, I have slept through the night one time.

Last night I got a good night’s sleep, a whole night’s sleep, through the night. And I attribute that, in a great deal, in a great way to Dr. Listiak. So, I feel very good about my treatment here and I wish the best for you as well. Thank you and God bless.

Jay Pfaffman – San Diego – Neuropathy in Legs with Burning Tingling Itching Legs and Toes, Problems with  Diet

Good morning, my name is Jay. I’m here at Dr. Listiak’s for neuropathy treatment. I’ve had neuropathy for a couple of years from my knees down to my toes. I have a tingling, burning, itching sensation constantly. Sometimes it’s not as bad as it could be. But most of the time it’s worse than what I can really deal with.

I heard about Dr. Listiak’s specialty in neuropathy and I came and he explained the whole situation. I was very happy with what he had to say. I have been here six weeks and in my estimation, I’ve made remarkable progress. I have feeling from my knees down through my feet. Again, this is only after six weeks.

It’s been a life changing situation for me. I feel better physically, mentally, emotionally. It’s really a total situation that Dr. Listiak has put me through. I’ve changed my diet. I’ve changed the way I think about things, what I drink, what I eat. It’s very important to integrate all of these things to make the total package. Again, I’m happy to be here. How Is Neck Pain Related To Arm Tingling? Can You Save Me?

Cheryl Reidy – Rancho Santa Fe – Neck and Shoulder Pain with Arm Tingling

Hi I’m Cheryl and I just had my first treatment with Dr. Listiak. I came in here because I was having tingling down my arms, from my shoulders to my arms and a little bit in my feet. He just did the first treatment and I feel so much better.

It’s unbelievable. My neck was so stiff and sore. When I went to put my coat back on, I reached into the sleeves (lately it’s been hurting just to raise my arms up in my shoulders) and it didn’t hurt. Right now I feel great. Thank you Dr. Listiak, you did a great job today. You’re going to save me.

The last two to three years, I have had numbness in my right thigh. My right thigh issues have been nearly eliminated.

Can Peripheral Neuropathies Improve When There are Walking, Balance and Energy Problems? Will This Help Me Maintain My Independence?

Ann Hiroshige – Carlsbad – Balance and Walking Problems with Reduced Energy

I’m Ann. And when I first visited Dr. Listiak, I had problems walking. And by walking I mean that I felt like I was not grounding. And I felt that I was not balanced either. I felt like I was floating. After treatment, immediately I started to feel.

Every day I did exactly what Dr. Listiak told me to do and I found out that I got all my feeling back and I felt more energetic. The other day when I was walking, I had a little spring to my walk. So I’m just delighted.

I’m the kind of person to look into what is neuropathy. It’s a continual journey of learning about my own body and what I need to keep it whole. So thank you Dr. Listiak, you were there for me.

I have neuropathy. I also have essential tremor but I’m in the Doctor’s office for neuropathy. And as I say, it’s the first time in years that I haven’t gotten up three or four times a night.

A mile.

Yup. Uphill.

(Yeah. Wonderful. Good news.)

What About Weight Loss?

Linda Stockdale – Encinitas – Weight Loss

I’m Linda and I’ve been seeing Dr. Listiak for almost six weeks now. I’ve tried to do diets in the past and it hasn’t worked so well. Coincidentally, it’s worked really well over the past month. I’ve actually lost fourteen pounds. Which is quite a bit for me, and I feel really good.

What About Other Neurological Symptoms and Weakness?

Terri Yonemura – December 28th, 2012 – Carlsbad – Seizures, Foot Brace, Toenail Issues, Walking Problems, Pale Countenance, Reduced Immune System, No Sense of Smell

My name is Terri Yonemura. I came to Dr. Listiak because I was having two years of non-epileptic seizures. I’ve had to wear foot braces and I’ve spent two years in doctor’s offices, mainly. After one treatment last night, I went home and was able to wiggle my toes for the first time in probably over a year. It was really exciting and it felt really good, too. So I’m going to hope that I can eventually get out of my brace and walk normally and feel better again.

(6 days later – January 3rd, 2013)

I’ve been with Dr. Listiak for about a week now. My whole office is buzzing about the change in my color and stability. I’m not limping as bad and I have had only one seizure in the past week. Last night, and the night before, I slept through the night and woke up refreshed instead of waking up in pain. Not only do I feel great but my family is noticing it and my whole work environment is going “what is going on?” I’m excited.

(That is fantastic. Before, how many seizures did you have in a week?)

In a week, I would have about five or sometimes more.

(And you’ve only had one now.)

I’ve only had one, in the past week.

(Wow. And how long has it been since you’ve had a good night’s sleep?)

About two years.

(Wow. So this is wonderful.)

I’m excited. I can’t wait.

(8 days later – January 11th, 2013)

I’ve been with Dr. Listiak for a few weeks now. As of tomorrow, I will have gone two weeks without a seizure. Before meds, I was having up to ten a day. With meds, I was averaging about three to five per week. I’m excited and I’m looking forward to wearing boots and not having to wear a foot brace.

(3 days later – January 14th, 2013)

As of this weekend, I’ve been sixteen days seizure free. My husband and I have been analyzing whether or not I have a continued need to take my seizure meds. I’ve been tapering off and I’m almost to the point that, as of this week, I won’t be on any seizure meds whatsoever. I have nurses in my office who are commenting about how before they were fearing for me on a daily basis, looking at my shakiness and skin tone, knowing that my overall health was going down, down, down. They’re so pleased with the progress that I’ve made in just a few short weeks.

I’m Richard, Terri’s husband. I can attest to the amount of progress she’s made in the last three weeks. More progress than anything she did with going to other doctors for the last two years. It’s been terrific.

I, Terri, also wanted to mention that as of Friday, I took the foot brace off that I’ve been in for almost a year. I went all weekend and today to work with no foot brace and no issues with stumbling or falling. My next long term goal is to be able to drive again. My husband would probably say it would be cool because he doesn’t always want to have to go to the grocery store with me.

(4 days later – January 18th, 2013)

This week I noticed that the numbness I have had in my left thumb for almost two years has almost completely dissipated. I woke up two years ago numb from the top of my head down the left side. Everything came back except my thumb. It felt like a rubber band was tied around my thumb. It was really exciting for me this week to find that I’m getting feeling back. It feels like the rubber band has been cut off.

Also, as a child, I had numerous issues with ingrown toenails. It was even to the point that the doctors said that I had gangrene running up the bottom of my foot. I had numerous surgeries on my left toenail and the toenail had been completely removed and the bone scraped to prevent re-growth. But I’ve noticed just in the last week that, right in the dead center, I’m getting a little bit of re-growth of my toenail. I feel like everything is healing and starting to repair itself. I’m all excited.

(10 days later – January 28th, 2013)

As of this past Saturday, I’ve been seizure free for over four weeks since I’ve been with Dr. Listiak. An added bonus was that I fought the dreaded flu last week but it kept me down very minimally. As of Saturday, I have also regained a sense of smell. I haven’t been able to smell things in well over a year, possibly a year and a half. Even before then, my ability to smell was very sporadic. Today, I got to smell some herbal tea and it smelled really good.

Please give us a call at 760-230-2939 or provide your info and we’ll contact you as soon as possible.

Take care,
Dr. Jeff Listiak
